Scottish engineering firm Texo Group has won a multi-million-pound contract to manufacture a record-breaking tidal turbine for Orbital Marine Power. Named O2, the tidal turbine is meant to become the most powerful in the world when it enters operation in 2020 as part of a long term project at European Marine Energy Centre (EMEC).
